The Story Behind Our Children’s Hospital Los Angeles Partnership
Hospitals are scary, no matter how old you are. But they're also places of healing and hope. Our founder Shay Mitchell saw that firsthand back in 2017, when she visited the Children's Hospital of Los Angeles alongside her castmates from Pretty Little Liars.
In the years since she’s been a big supporter from spending time with patients and bringing smiles to their faces to hosting fundraisers. And it’s in that same spirit that we’re proud to announce our newest partnership with CHLA. For the last 125 years, the institution has been one of the most respected pediatric facilities in the country with a strong commitment to providing compassionate, world-class care to all children. With a shared vision of providing a better future and the opportunity to thrive physically, developmentally, and emotionally, we at Rini want to do our part to ensure they continue that crucial work.
What does that support look like? We’re donating 1% of all of the revenue from our Daily Care Essentials line. Consisting of the Daily Barrier Cream, Daily Face & Body Lotion, and Foaming Face & Body Wash, they’re safe and gentle products made in collaboration with leading Korean formulation scientists and U.S. based pediatric specialists. EWG VERIFIED® and accepted by the National Eczema Association, parents can rest assured that we’re committed to the highest standards of ingredient safety and efficacy courtesy of a comprehensive clinical testing program. From ensuring it’s gentle around the eyes to patch testing to real-world testing by pediatricians and dermatologists, it’s suitable for the entire family be it babies, children, or adults.
With that donation, we want to support their ability to provide outstanding patient care as well as work to advance groundbreaking, necessary research. That money also ensures children and families get the resources they need, during a time that can be both physically and mentally taxing. It’s our goal to invest in CHLA and strengthen an institution that’s shaping the future of pediatric health through innovation, medical discovery, and a relentless commitment to improving outcomes for young patients.
Working with CHLA reflects how deeply inspired we are by their leadership in education and evidence-based care. Rini was created to promote positive habits from an early age and support great awareness around children’s skin health and wellness.
